Venkataraaman, spoke about the different types of cameras, lenses and the proper use of the same. He explained in detail the difference between shutter & aperture and that it’s the sensor size that matters & not the mega pixels. He firmly believes that it’s not the camera that matters but the person behind it. He wanted the students to work with what they feel, go with instinct and intuition and then apply the various rules. He instructed the students that modes like the Green Mode and Smile Detection are NOT to be used. He brought his session to an end by giving the students post production hints through various examples. He believes that a picture is complete only when it has been processed and worked on properly to get the real effects and lighting (true colour).
